I too was in Israel Sept '96 and totally loved the city and could summarize it archetectually with one word - "Fortress" loved the stone used in everything - either rough or polished, and interestingly enough were the "pock" marks from rockets/bullets during various wars. What an awesome place! And it belongs to G-d, what a shame the world is bickering over its future, when I know the "architect" has already decided the outcome!
