Dreaming of Israel

My time in Israel was like a wonderful dream... and I was lucky enough to capture some of those dreams as pictures

August 28th, 2004 (Mini Israel)

Welcome to my pictures from Israel! I have sorted them by date, though a day or two is missing (from the start and at the end) to spare you from pics that might not interest you (I don't think you really need to see a pic of the airplane I flew in, for example). Take a look around and enjoy. Share any experiences or information on the sites, if you feel moved to do so. I can't remember details about everything, I saw so much in such a short time. Happy Viewing!

note: pictures from my trip last year can be found here.

Fabulous! What a great job on this photo blog and the pics were great...So glad that you realized such a dream and went. They that want to do us harm cannot take our dreams. Living one out is a great thing.

Nice to see what you look like too.

WOW! Great photos! The crazy grass, the scripture stone and the toilet are all things I've never seen or heard of. You took some really georgous shots, too. The sunset over Old Jaffa, the Weizman Institute, the waterfall... Looks like it was an amazing trip. So glad you got to go and appreciative of your sharing all about it.

Cool pix and pretty exhaustive too.
Me too dream of Israel and one day I too will
be blessed to place my feet on that soil.

I should not be blamed if I looked lil' closer
to see some footprints of the Man who walked on that land, few thousand years ago ...

Great work and thanks for sharing the pix ...

Great pictures! We were just in Jerusalem (breathtaking), but, alas, have yet to make it to Mini-Israel. ;-)

Hi. My name is Eugene Gershin. I'd like to welcome you to Obadiah Shoher's blog, Samson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict.

Obadiah is a pen name of a politician. He writes extremely controversial articles about Israel, the Middle East politics, and terrorism.

Obadiah advocates political rationalism instead of moralizing. He is economic liberal and political conservative.

Google refused advertising our site and Amazon deleted reviews of Obadiah's book. Nevertheless, Obadiah’s is the largest Jewish personal blog, read by more than 100,000 people monthly. 210,000 people from 81 countries downloaded Obadiah’s book. The blog was voted the best overall in People’s Choice: Jewish and Israeli blogs Awards, received Webby Honoree and other awards.

Please help us spread Obadiah's message, and mention the blog in one of your posts, or link to us. We would greatly appreciate your comments at www.samsonblinded.org/blog

    Best wishes,

    Eugene Gershin

Hey there, you. I can't post a comment on your main blog, but I saw you posted there last fall. I wanted to say that I visited Israel and as an atheist goy I enjoyed it very much, even my prayer to no one at the wall. I'm looking forward to going back.

    Take care.
